Our commitment to your complete peace of mind in Virginia Beach
At Pungo Maples, we are committed to providing quality products and ensuring every customer is satisfied with their purchase. Customers must notify Pungo Maples at first sign of tree stress with an image sent to our contact email address with the invoice number or tree tracking number. Once Pungo Maples has confirmed the issue via image, an assessment will be made and store credit, replacement tree, or refund will be issued at discretion of Pungo Maples. All claims must be made within 90 days of tree pickup or delivery. If tree is purchased in dormant season then claim must be made by May 30th of following season. Pungo Maples reserves the right to deny claims for any reason.
To keep things fair and simple for our local nursery operations, fulfilling the guarantee requires either:
- Product Return: Bringing the tree back to our nursery location at 2065 Vaughan Road in Virginia Beach, Or
- Photo Verification: Providing a clear digital photo of the specimen damage or issue.
Our relationship with you and your trees doesn't end after purchase. Whether you are moving, redesigning your landscape, or simply downsizing, we believe high-value Japanese maples are living assets that retain their worth.
Through our local buyback option, Pungo Maples offers two transparent repurchase tracks for healthy specimens purchased from us:
1. Full Original Purchase Price
If you need to return your Pungo Maples specimen in healthy condition, we will buy it back at the exact price you originally paid, issued as nursery store credit or direct refund if returned to store in pot with roots and tree in good condition. Pungo Maples reserves the option to deny a buyback for any reason.
2. Accelerated Growth Valuation
If your tree has received proper care, thrived, and visibly increased in structural architecture, caliper size, or canopy volume under our local coastal conditions, we may appraise and buy it back at an accelerated market value higher than your original purchase price if returned to store in pot with roots and tree in good condition. Pungo Maples reserves the option to deny a buyback for any reason.
*Note: Buyback Program valuations require the specimen to be returned by you to our nursery to confirm overall root and branch health.
